15,748,400
Four countries. Fifteen million, seven hundred forty-eight thousand lives unreached with the Gospel.
Albania: 40,000 people
Montenegro: 55,000 people
Kyrgystan: 6,160,000 people
Jordan: 9,493,000 people
Take a second and let these numbers not just be numbers in your mind. These people are brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, friends, neighbors, mothers, and fathers. They matter, they aren’t just numbers on a blog or a statistic thrown around.
The listed countries are those that my squad in January will be going to. Still millions of lives are unreached with the good news of Christ’s birth, death, and resurrection in these places.
Oh, what it means for us to know Christ as our own and to be known by him more and more. I was thinking the other day of where I would be without Jesus and His lordship in my life and I was overwhelmed with so much joy and thankfulness that He had chosen me before I ever surrendered to following Him. There are people searching and crying out for the Gospel that we hold and know.
Could you imagine never having heard the name of Jesus? Say it out loud to yourself, “Jesus.” Now think of those who can’t call upon that name. The name that is above every other name, the one that sets captives free, the one that gives life abundant. Our beautiful savior and wonderful Lord. Our good shepherd and our wonderful counselor. Jesus Christ of Nazareth. God incarnate. Now ask yourself where you would be without Jesus.
I am still fundraising and this is why. I fundraise to go to them, to proclaim His name among those who are heading toward an eternity apart from Him. I go to give them the only name who can set them free and save them, Jesus. He did it for me and now I get to go and let them know it is just as much for them as anyone else. Jesus isn’t just for Americans, He is for all who are lost and wandering, He is for all nations, tribes, and tounges who call upon Him! Please consider Christ’s hand on your life and pray into partnering with me to take that good news to those who have never heard it themselves.
(Below I’ve attached a spoken word that I filmed back in 2019 while down in South Africa with another missionary who was doing work in Swaziland.)
