Hello from Cambodia! Nine-hundred and fifty days have passed since I could say that last, but now I am back. This is a sweet return here in getting to come back to city, a people, a culture that I had to have been so quickly removed from when covid hit in March 2020. I didn’t know if I would ever come back here once I left, but God in His unpredictable ways brought me back! There is an abundance of beauty in this return, so much redemption awaiting a once weighty departure. Unfinished business now getting to be tended to, in His truly perfect timing!

It looks different than I remember it here though not much has changed. Perhaps it the newness of life the Lord has awakened in me in those 950 days…and don’t forget the things He put to death. Perspectives have shifted and I carry a healthier heart. God has been faithful, truly and undeniably faithful, to discipline me, carry me, love me, challenge me, and awaken me to His goodness. Wow, 950 days. Days of deep sorrow and great joy made way for His abundance of life to pour forth, but it was a wild ride. Nine-hundred-fifty days, eleven countries, tasted loss, gained over two hundred new friends through five squads, and walked with the Lord to new freedom and security. I’ve learned to love and lead differently and seen lives transformed by the grace and power of God.

Please keep my squad in your prayers as many of them have entered unfamiliar spiritual climates for their first time and seek to walk out His kingdom in their days to come! We will be altogether in Siem Reap for the first month and I will keep you updated on ministry types as we get them. God is faithful and beyond gracious to bring me back here and I know He has so much for this time in Cambodia!
