I’ve been home for three weeks now and the time with family and friends has been beautiful. I’m so sorry for the lack of blogs posted, but I’ve just been trying to soak up the time at home. I wanted to update all of you on recent happenings. I’m going back on the field like many of you have known, but I’m not going to Nepal right away. With my ticket booked and Nepal still being closed due to covid regulations and surges in the country, I almost felt stuck. I knew the Lord put Nepal heavy on my heart and convicted me of lives there without the Gospel, but there seemed to be no immediate possibility to go. I was asked to be an alumni team leader on a 11n11 World Race trip. With plenty of prayer and guidance, I have peace that this is where the Lord wants me right now. I will be on the field with the squad for 3 months, and our focus is on the 10/40 window. There is a possibility that my last country in month 3 could be Nepal, but even if it’s not we are going to people who need Jesus…some people who have never heard His precious name.

When sitting with God to ask him if I should lead on this trip leaving only a month after being home or waiting until September to try and go to Nepal, I got a vision of what looked like the u.s. national debt sign. This sign was just the numbers on a board, but just like our nation’s debt, the numbers increased rapidly each second demanding my eyes to remain fixated on it. I felt Him say, “These are the lives lost that do not know me, therefore you must not wait an extra month.” So, I am going sooner than expected and also sooner than desired. Let it sink in that our comfortability and our timing could be the reason people do not get to know our God and savior.

This group will be structured differently than the others I have been on. For this route, there are countries listed as hubs and countries listed as opportunities. This squad will begin in the hub country in each region and have the opportunity to travel to the other countries in the region where AIM has strategic ministry partners! (More detail at the link below) I will be launching at the beginning of August with our first country being Romania! This age group is 23 to 35 year-olds, so I am very expected to get to learn and walk alongside an older group of believers.

I am fundraising too! For me to be able to go and remain on the field with the squad, I must raise $4300. With this being such a last-second decision, there is a bit more urgency to fundraise. I will post more in the coming days, but please please feel free to share or reach out. God is worthy of our lives laid down completely and fully in joyful surrender to glorify all that He is.
